Where is the accommodation?▼
We have four oceanfront RVs available for guests, and three additional rooms in our Club House.
Where is the campsite, and how safe is it?▼
Our campsite is located at a private marina, accessible only to VIP guests, ensuring a high level of security.
How far is the dock from the campsite?▼
GLAMPING @ VANCOUVER ISLAND has two docks. Duke Point is about a 15-minute drive from the campsite, while Departure Bay is about 25 minutes away.
How far in advance should I book the trip?▼
The earlier, the better! Booking early increases your chances of securing your preferred dates.
How early should I book ferry tickets?▼
We recommend booking ferry tickets as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. Ferry tickets sell out quickly, especially in summer.
Is it necessary to bring rain boots?▼
Rain boots are recommended for foraging trips as there may be mud and sand. They also provide good grip and are easy to clean.
Do I need to bring a life jacket?▼
We provide life jackets, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Should I prepare my own fishing gear?▼
Fishing gear will be provided, but you can bring your own if you’d like.
Should I bring food with me?▼
If you choose our Full Package, we will provide basic meals. Guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks. Note: If you have food allergies, please inform our staff in advance.
Can I modify or cancel my booking after purchasing a package?▼
- For changes made more than 30 days in advance, we will issue a full credit for future bookings (subject to restrictions and cancellation fees).
- Changes are not permitted with less than 30 days’ notice, and no credit will be given.
- No refunds will be issued for evictions due to violations of club rules.
- No refunds are available for early departures or late arrivals.
- All changes or membership transfers incur a $50 service fee.
- Credits are valid for one year from the original booking date.
- Trips booked in the low season can be rebooked in the peak season by paying the price difference.
- Trips booked in the peak season can be rebooked in the low season, but no refund will be given for the price difference.
- Certain activities are subject to weather, wind, and participant age conditions. Pricing is subject to change until full payment is received.
Is Wi-Fi available at the campsite?▼
Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi at our Campsite and Club House.
Is there a grocery store nearby?▼
The nearest grocery store is about a 15-minute drive from the campsite.
Can I bring pets?▼
Yes, we are pet-friendly, we have an assigned RV for the family that has pets. But pets must be kept on a leash at all times and are not allowed inside the Club House or other RVs. If you plan to bring a pet, please inform our customer service team in advance. Whether pets are allowed will depend on their breed and size.
What should I pack for the trip?▼
We recommend packing weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear, sunscreen, and insect repellent. A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.
What happens in case of bad weather?▼
Certain outdoor activities may be rescheduled or canceled due to weather conditions. If this happens, we’ll do our best to offer alternative activities or reschedule your experience.
